Is it possible to configure a C Series module, such as the NI-9485, to perform pulse width modulation (PWM) programatically using labview ( dynamically , real time)?

Hi canucks,

Is it possible to configure a C Series module,

Yes, there are modules allowing configuration of PWM outputs.

such as the NI-9485

No, not this module.

1. Whenever you have questions on NI hardware you should read the manual first

2. When you are asking for a specific problem you should also supply specific information! Please define PWM frequency and desired PWM duty resolution…

After reading the manual of your NI9485 it is quite clear this module will only allow very slow PWM frequencies in the order of <0.1 Hz, as it is limited to "1 operation per second" switching rate!

Best regards,
