I have stumbled on a strange behavior where cDAQ-9188 chassis is only showing few modules in MAX, but when I login to the chassis via web (using the IP address), I see all the module names listed. Please refer to the reference images for more details.
What I have done so far.
Rest the cDAQ-9188
Assigned an IP address or left is as DHCP
Double check the module's compatibilities - https://www.ni.com/en/support/documentation/supplemental/08/c-series-module-and-compactdaq-compactri...
Rest MAX - Tools\Rest Configuration Data
Updated the firmware on cDAQ-9188 - (Version 1.7.1)
Updated DAQmx driver - First I removed all the DAQmx drivers and installed NIDAQ1600f0.
Does any encounter an issue like this before? Is there anyway to cross check the module's compatibilities using it's serial number? I would greatly appreciated if someone could provide some feedback to this issue.
Thanks
Sam

Another note,
I have tested these missing modules using another cDAQ-9184 chassis and it's seem to recognize these modules right away.

Hey Sam,
There are several potential workarounds for cDAQ connectivity issues, outlined in the document here:
Troubleshooting Network cDAQ Connectivity Issues
If this is isolated to one computer on the same network, that may indicate that there are driver compatibility issues.
Sincerely,
Kevin

Thanks Kevin for your suggestion. I did come across that link.
I am currently running NI-DAQmx 16 device driver; therefore, cDAQ-9188 should be well compatible with my system. I tried the cDAQ-9188 on three different system. One system seems to be behaving normally, other one establish connection but only show few modules, and final system doesn't even should the cDAQ-9188. Please refer to the attached document for me details.
