cRIO-9052 Starfabric Controller and New Virtex 5 Chassis

Can anyone confirm that the cRIO-9052 controller is not compatible with the new Virtex 5 chassis?

The datasheet for the 9052 says only for 910x chassis and the new virtex 5 chassis are 911x

Actually it is compatible. See page 4 of the 9052 Operating Instructions. This has also been verfied in tests.
