I have a incremental encoder I am trying to read, It has 1024 pulses per revolution and is a push-pull type. It can both sink as well as source.

Here are the specs:

        Optical encoder, bidirectional w/index, 1024 ppr, servo mount,5-26V in, 5-26V push-pull out. Danaher Ind Crtl series H20.

I need to know what cRIO module could and would be used to read this.

Whenever you have a question in what hardware or software would suite best to your needs, you should directly call your local NI office to talk to an engineer.

However, I would suggest a 9401.
