The File Dialog is not an ActiveX control in and of itself. It is comprised of several ActiveX controls such as TreeView, ComboBox, etc. It has a bunch of code written for it to do the "work." You will find many 3rd party ActiveX controls out there that simulate the behavior of the explorer window or file dialog control, etc. If you want a pure G version of this, you need to write the code. YOu can make an XControl out of it to reuse it if you wish, but there is no quick and dirty solution to this.
I looked into doing something like this for some project (I can't even remember why anymore), and it was just not worth the effort to get what I was looking for.

Ya, finally you are hitting at the right point (Thanks a heap to ALTEN). I wanted a window for browsing in the front panel itself. I just wanted the expert's help whether such a thing was possible or not.
(Instead some people here started blasting me off)
And yes, internet browsing is possible through the ActiveX. I wanted something similar to that.

Also, Mr. Ray, I need not remind you that this is a public forum and everyone is entitled to their own opinions. But, this in turn does not entitle you to deride people.
We are all sharing knowledge and discussing in this forum. There is a conduct to put things and your opinions forward. Just because you are unable to appreciate someone’s perspective of the problem, does not mean that you label them as “Idiots” and accuse them of bickering !!
The forum says that you are a Veteran but your manner of putting down people is not appreciable at all

Dear Somil Gautam,
Please try to understand things. Don't blame anyone here. Dennis and Ray are trying their best to help you in whatever simpler method possible. Please take it positively.
If you keep telling them like this, the people will get irritated and don't even look at your posts.
Please don't take this as a warning.
Thanks for your understanding,
Mathan

Hey man, Do not say it a favour. Everybody has contributed and everything has a right on it.
So here is what i found out.
Actually, the windows can be explored from the Web Browser ActiveX control. This is the basic thing. You just can make it more meaningful by adding more controls and other things of your choice.
I am attaching the VI along.
