can one reverse an application distribution?

Hello,

I inadvertantly saved a group of VIs as an application distribution rather than as a develoment distribution. Working off of the same amchine, can I reverse this process and get back my original code?

If you used the default settings of the app distribution and the diagrams are gone, they are gone forever unless you saved the original VIs.

Once the diagram is gone, it's gone. There's no going back. The only solution is to regularly backup your work in an indepedent location (and on a hard copy). You should be able to use these VIs, but once you move to the next version of LV you will have a problem because you can't recompile them.

In addition to the above recommendations, I would suggest using Perforce so you can recover previous revisions of your files.
