can't open network connection

Have used datasocket based program successfully on win nt, 2000 and xp. When it was tried on win95 got a pop up message that said "Can't open Network Connection"

I have never heard of any particular issues with running DataSocket on 95, so I don't believe that it's an environment issue. Since DataSocket is built upon TCP technology, you can try running a TCP/IP application and see if it runs correctly on your network. This may reveal something in your network or could show that the issue is just with DataSocket.
