cannot find DAQmx Create Channel(AO-Voltage-basic).vi for usb-6009

Hello,

After installing labview 2009 my labview program cannot find 'DAQmx Create Channel(AO-Voltage-basic).vi'.

I have installed the newest NI Device Drivers CD but still no effect.

Before the NI Device Driver CD I uninstalled labview 8.6 and removed the folder in National instrument directory.

Can someone please tell me how to install the daqmx drivers for USB6009?

grtz,

Bart

Is that the only function you are missing or is the entire DAQmx palette missing? Is DAQmx listed in MAX?

HEy,

Well all my daqmx for the usb-6009 are gone.

I know they are not drivers for the 6009 specific

Other Vi's where write.vi read.vi etc...

Can I not manually copy the files to its destination somehow.

NI-DAQmx Device Driver 9.0.2 is listed in MAX under the software tab.

btw,

The folder from NI consist of NI-DAQ, this folder contains some subfolders with llb but I can't open them.

They have to be linked somehow to labview I think.

Hi darkxceed,

Is your USB device working in the Measurement and Automation explorer?

You should have this folder:

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2009\vi.lib\DAQmx

If not, you can try a repair. Be sure that Labview 2009 support is enabled in the installer.

Regards,

Bas

Well I tried it all repair and such.

Now I have uninstalled complete NI software and installed all new, and now it works.

This costed me about 3 hours, could not do other things in meanwhile.
