cannot install my max

i have just formatted my hard disk. Then i went go to install the driver just as daq6.9.2, 488.2v2.0 and then labview, measurement studio, fieldpoint, teststand and look out etc. but aftr my installstion i realized that i cannot find my max or should i say max was not installed at ll. While i try to install the max independently, i received this message that say that max has existed and if you wish to carry on installation, you must uninstall the earlier version.

I have always thought that max is a package inclusive in most ni product packages. For example if i install labview 6.1, max should be included and that apllies to lookout as well right. Please enlighten my query?

With the newer versions of our software, MAX gets installed automatically with the software, if you do the full of typical installation. However, this will often "hide" max under the software name, and you will not be able to see it under Control Panel>>Add/Remove Programs. Still, you should be able to open MAX from Start>>Programs>>National Instruments....
I would suggest uninstalling all the software and installing MAX first. You should see it under Add/Remove Programs before proceeding to software installation. Then install the drivers, and then other software.
