clad online test

The current NI CLAD Online practice test seems to be VERY different from the test questions  refered to in posts in this forum, is there an OLD online practice test and a NEW one? The current one is just to simple. Or am I missing something?

The CLAD exam is updated over time as LabVIEW gets updated. This is only natural, as older versions of LabVIEW did not have certain features. For example, there may be a question on event structures, and event structures did not always exist. As for questions referred to in posts, they were probably referring to various incarnations of the CLAD exam.

I've never taken the CLAD exam, but my understanding is that it's not meant to be overly difficult. Mileage may vary.

Thanks for the reply, My concern is that some of the older posts about the CLAD Online NI test are MUCH more difficult than the current NI Online test.

So, Did the real CLAD test also get much eaiser? I felt very confident after blowing away the current Online test, then I saw questions on this forum referencing the NI Online test that I could not answer, I am VERY glad I saw these, because they Knocked me down a notch . I would LOVE to get a copy of the harder test from NI. Any one have any ideas about this?

Unfortunately, those who take the CLAD are not supposed to discuss the content. All they can offer is advice. Those like me who haven't taken the CLAD can answer specific questions.

If you did well with the sample CLAD exam that's posted I doubt you have much to worry about.  But then, I haven't taken the CLAD, so you should take what I say with a certain reasonable amount of skepticism. I'm sure those who have taken the CLAD will offer their own opinions. However, note that since in the US it's a holiday weekend and most of the folks on this forum are in the US, responses may not be quick.

Ok, Great........ But at the risk of beating a dead horse into the ground......... I am not asking for REAL CLAD test questions (it would be nice though)  I am specifically asking about the NI Online test, and is there and OLDER more difficult version of the test, there seems to be! BTW I am in the USA on this holiday weekend, inside studying LabVIEW............. I,ve got a USB-6008 DAQ module on my breadboard with a lot of "Stuff" wired in , so I am well entertained!..... Maybe I,ll get  a Pizza then get back to work.

I gave CLAD test yesterday. It is a bit difficult than the practice test..ie online one. Practice test is just to give you the idea of the test...

Not to be confused with the CLAD exam is the Fundamentals Exam

It is also a good prep for the CLAD. 

When you take the CLAD, recheck your answers. Don't let things like A = True and B = False trip you up. Also, the questions where more than one response may apply are tricky. Review those carefully.
