clone vi

Solved!

Can you elaborate for the 2015 software how to change from reentrant back to a normal vi?  I looked under File>VI Properties and didn't see execution under this.  I would like to not have any cloned sub vi's and be able to do my editing as normal.

Thanks!!

You should open it from the project manager.  Opening it from the block diagram opens up that cloned instance.  I assume this is so that when you are debugging you can have any/all of the instances open and can see them all working at the same time.

Just press ctrl+m on the clone and it will open the master for editing

You have to do it on the master. VI properties are greyed out on the clone, so just press ctrl+m first, then change the settings.
