Did you mean:

compiled stand-alone vi not working

Solved!
Go to solution
1) I didn't mean to offend anybody. If I did I am sorry. In this case the solution was not hidden in your code. If it was you would ask people to dig into your code that is not readable and thus you couldn't probably expect anybody to give you a valuable reply.
In addition criticism cannot be considered rude as long as one gives you advice how overcome the mistakes - and it's exactly what I did. I still highly suggest you to read at least the style guides if you ever want to share your code with somebody.

2) I gave you the right answer. When I read your post and opened your VI I was sure that the VISA drivers aren't included in your installer. So I posted my solution. I didn't follow the link that ssingh1 entered because whatever was there I was sure I can help you. In addition links can be broken in future with changes on the forum (which already happened in the past) so it is better to have written solution in the thread.

So whatever you think my answer can be used as an example of helpful answer.

Thanks for informing that links may be broken in future.

Will try to post inline answers from now on.

Please accept my apologies for my comments.  I was more than a little frustrated last week and I vented inappropriately.  Thank you for taking the time to look through my code, and yes, you had the right solution.  I appreciate your help.
