controls box opens and closes and moves across the screen

I have a problem ...

When I ssh to my linux box (debian/stable) and execute Labview, everything comes up fine (using Xming for display) but the controls box starts opening and closing repeatedly and moving down the screen as it reopens.  It is also difficult to do anything as the controls box keeps taking focus as it reopens.  Does someone have an idea how to stop this?

This sounds like a network problem mora than a LabVIEW problem. Does this also happen when you are locally at the computer? If it doesn't I would try using a difference VNC server and see if the problem persists.
