conversion from labview 2018 to 2014

I had made a Vi  in labview 2018 to implement it further i need to open this saved project in labview 2014. i saved it for the previous version to 14 but when i open this file i get an error message that file version is later than the current labview version and im not able to open the saved VI in labview 2014.

Take care with the use of "VI" and "Project" in your question - it's not clear exactly what you did.

 

What you should do is:

  • Open a project (lvproj) file containing your VIs
  • Use the File > Save for Previous menu to set to 2014
    • You'll need to select a new folder etc
  • Open in 2014.

If you open a VI, and save for previous (without a project) I think it might not check all possible required VIs (although a quick test now shows from 2019 to 2017, at least a simple statically called subVI was included in the backsave).

I had created a project in LabVIEW 2018 but I what the same project in LabVIEW 2014.

Will you please let me  know the procedure of loading the project in 2014.  

I had added a screen shot for your reference.

Hi dj,

 

two steps:

  1. save the project with LV2018.
  2. then select the "project" top entry in the project explorer list and choose File->Save for previous to save the whole project for LV2014…

We want to interface labview 2014 32 Bit with Raspberry Pi 3B, but when we open a module wizard window in a labview we are getting a error message that unable to connect .

In the attachment we are providing the hardware connection and the screen shot of the eoor message.
