They don't have to. All they have to do is click on the username of the OP to see what this person has posted in the past.

I didn't have to "investigate" this user.
This OP's username is unusual which I remembered from his original post with its "memorable" subject which had its more than the usual number of responses.
That's why I remember him. That may be why others remember him as well.
