basically there is a control of the amplitude and frequncy, so as to changes with resoect of real and imaginary

Hai sean1985,

I think you want to convert amplitude and frequency into real and imaginary values.

You can find it in programming--> Numeric--> Complex

See the attachment, if this is what you require.

I ve enabled the Unit Label for the Freq control on the FP. Just rt-click & select to enable the Unit Label feature to dorectly key in the Deg [angle] value for the frequency parameter. Normally it takes frequency [or phase angle] in radians in LV.

First of all go through all the functions and controls available.

Just right click anywhere on the block diagram and navigate to know about functions

Just right click anywhere on the front panel and navigate to know about controls

The original poster and others keep talking about amplitude and frequency.  But the function calls for amplitude and phase  (theta)!  It calls for an angle.
