Hi
I wonder if anyone have come across designing 3d fuel charts containing load factor on x and rpm on y-axis. The fuel ratios ( lean running and rich running) appear on 3d chart depending where the mouse cursor is on the plot. Its very common to see turn-key solution software in market but I hope labview is capable of doing it. If so, could you please help me on where to start. There are lots of sensors on the car and I have compactrio and all hardware too. I need help on where to start from, like what vis do i need and is it usual way of acquiring signal using daq assistant and so on?
Many thanks in advance for your help.
Thanks and Regards

Hello Kwaris,
I would say the best place to look for getting started with your cRIO is the example finder in LabVIEW itself there are lots of examples available on there that might only need miner alternations to find the solution you are looking for.
In addition to the cRIO examples there are several examples that demonstrate the use of 3D graphs that have X Y and Z axis laid out
The picture below is the 3D surface plot example.

I hope this helps you get started.
With regards,
