crio 9082 usb device

I need to connect a usb device and read in serial mode. The device is recognized in MAX as

USB0::0x403::0x6001::A703D8LA::RAW

When I set the visa resource as the above line and try to read it, it gives Error code 1073807331.  The interesting thing is that I have successfully connected to the USB device from the usb port of sbrio 9607 before with the same program. In sbrio the device is seen as ASRL8:INSTR which is a major difference from the crio 9082.

Dees anybody have an idea about this difference between two NI platforms?

The 9607 runs Linux RT and the 9082 rus Pharlap ETS:

You'll probably have to stick with LinuxRT cRIOs for the device to work ask you expect
