curve? command for TDS2024

Know why the tektronix oscilloscope transfer differnt length of waveform from a command 'curve?'? Please help me. I am using RS232 communication with LabVIEW 7.

I'm using a TDS220 and its programmer manual point out that "Use the DATa:STARt and DATa:STOP commands to specify the portion of the wavefoem that you want to transfer."

And addtionally, I am programming a LabVIEW program to process ultrasonic signal with a Tektronix oscilloscope which use RS232 either! Maybe we can discuss some program details each other.
