cvi service in windows 2003 terminal servers

Hi,

We are a Hosted ASP currently running Windows 2003 Terminal servers and have an application that was developed using the LabView CVI development tools. Installing the application installs the Labview cvi service and related dll's which the application uses.
What I need to know is:
a) what security rights does the service require?
b) what does the service do?
c) are there any known issues with running the service on Terminal Services platforms and has it been tested with Windows 2003 O/S?
d) what services does it depend on and most importantly are there any security implications related to running the service.
Finally are there any licensing implications that arise from using products developed using the LabView CVI in a hosted enviroment>

Thanks

T,

National Instruments does not officially support windows 2003 as an operating system or Terminal Servers. There are no licensing issues with using the CVI run time engine as it is required to run the executables.

I will try to find some further information on the service security needs.

T,

I have been looking into the services that may need to run but have been unable to find any specific information. Is there a more specific service you are interested in that I could pass onto one of my colleagues.

Kind Regards
