daq assistant cannot be edited

If you open the VI from the project can you run the code? If you create a new VI (with nothing but a DAQ Assistant) and new project do you still have the behavior?

The code will still run when opened as a project, it just wont edit the settings of the DAQ Assistant.

Creating a new project and vi with only the DAQ Assistant still will not let me edit it.

 Would you recomend I try reinstalling DAQmx. Perhaps there is a corrupted file somewhere.

Uninstall and reinstall I think is a good next step from here. Let me know how it goes, I’ll see if I can set up a test machine and replicate it here.
