data acquisition problem

Hi gang -

I am attempting to create a program to provide online feedback to my
subjects. The feedback should be of a predetermined length (5 sec) and
in real time. I modified the Continuous Acquisition and Chart example
to display my data in real time by manipulating the dx value of the
chart and counting the number of iterations of the loop to determine
when the acquisition should be stopped. It worked when only sampling
one channel, but I have added 3 more as well as having added a second
(similar) chart. I realize this changes the sampling rate and have
accounted for that, but the acquisition is no longer 5 secs long (it is
much longer). I've been changing the dx value and nothing seems to
work. There has to be a better w
ay to do this. Any suggestions?

Hi Jamie

If you change the sampling rate, but not the number of scans to read, then
the length of the aquisition will change - have you changed the number of
scans to read (per channel)?
