datafinder error and install error

Hi,

When I open my computer, an datafinder error would show up.

And if I reinstall everything, the installing program(labview 2011 sp1) would stop at dataloging part(I waited for at least 2 hours, nothing happened), and I have to quit.

Any ideas?

Before running the installer try to make sure no NI software is runnning. Also shut down services named NI *. Then try to run the installer again.

I looked into my PC, there is no config file under the USI folder...

You maybe looked into the programfiles instead of programdata folder:

C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\Shared\USI\Config
