diagram grid color

Is there a way to set diagram grid color ?

On the diagram right click and choose properties...

In the program use the property note (right click the terminal and choose create -> property note 

one note is called grid color

Are you wanting to do this programmatically (don't know why you would) or just set different colors so that each area is sectioned off with color. the way I do this is to go to in the menu bar select window/ tools pallette and then select the coloring tool. this is the easiest way I know.

If I am interpreting your question correctly to be, "Is there a way to set the alignment grid color for the block diagram?", the answer is no.  There is no property node you can use and there is no way to paint it with the paint brush.  Either of those methods will work for the background color but not for the grid itself.  The actual grid color is one of two shades of gray, determined by how dark the background color is.  If the background color is light, then the grid will be a little darker.  If the background color is dark, the grid will change colors to a lighter shade so it's more visible.

And a bit of sidetracking: I never understood the point of the diagram grid. If I would be using a pen, I can understand it, but since LV is perfectly capable of keeping wires straight and it really gets in the way, I can't see any reason to use it. I don't mind it on the FP, because I hardly work there, but I prefer not to have it on the diagram.

Right click will  bring up the function pallet, I can choose properties, but there is no such node as grid color ?

Actually, I am trying to make the grid less visible.

I was just pointing out that the grid is either off or on, and when it's on, it's color is one of two non-settable colors (based on whatever the background color is set to).

If you are trying to make the diagram's grid less visible you can set it to OFF or set the contrast to a lower number if you want it on but not too visible. These settings are in the Tools: Options: Alignment Grid in the toolbar at the top of a vi.
