Did you mean:

dnet 1.4.2

I wish to use an older version of Labview(as well as newest) that works with dnet 1.4.2, but not the newest version of same.

1.4.2 will not load because of the presence of the newer version.     Is there a workaround for operation on same computer?

Solutions?

Thankyou in advance.

Greetings amazed

You can have several versions of LabVIEW concurrently on the same computer, although you can only have 1 version of a driver at a time. Can you clarify to me if you are having trouble installing an older version of LabVIEW after having a newer version of LabVIEW as well as a newer version of DNET? Or if the problem is that you try to install an older version of dnet, and that is being block by a newer version? Bottom line, can you tell us the installation order that you follow and the problem that you are experiencing. Thank you.

Thankyou for looking
(Or if the problem is that you try to install an older version of dnet, and that is being block by a newer version?) - this is exactly it.

I select the dnet 1.4.2 "autorun". Then "LV7" directory.
This brings up the "Features to Install". Everything is checked-including LV7 support. A message on the right says "This feature will not be installed." "A Higher feature of this product is already installed on your computer"
I am unable to uncheck.

Best Regards

Greetings amazed

This behavior is expected and the way around it is to uninstall the newer version of dnet in order to install the older one.
