does anyone know of any way of getting block diagrams back?

i have an application that has been saved as an application distribution and had block diagrams removed. is there any way of recovering the block diagrams?

Unfortuately, once you save a VI without it's diagram, it's gone. There is no way to recover it. See this knowledge base article for more info.

the lesson here is always have a master copy of your source code that fully intact. If you need or want to distribute your application without the diagrams, make a copy.
