@coq rouge.. I have PCMCIA version.. But the problem is i don have analog out from the device..
i know my question is not at all related to labview, but if u have any ideas it would be very helpful.
Thanks..
No, you cannot directly read current.

Hello Dennis,
I guess 6036E can acquire current signals. Please guide me if i am wrong.
Thank You

Like Dennis say. The 6036 is a voltage sensing device. You can not measure current like you do with a digital multi-meter. Then you measure current, you insert a small resistor in the current path and measure the voltage drop over it. The resistor must be small enough to not cause significant measurement error. It must also be measured accurate before it is inserted in the circuit in order to get precise measurement. In differential mode your Daq card may measure this voltage drop. If you use a 2Ohm resistor and the +/- 50mV range you can very well measure current.
I must also say I do not like the direction this discussion has taken. Please post some more details next time. You have actually wasted a lot of time by not posting proper description. I guess this is a academic project. So why not ask your teacher for help. He want bite if you present a compiled list of that you have done so far, where you struggle, and some theories on how you can fix thing. By the way questions to this forum should be asked in the same manner
