dsc - get citadel 5.0 db size

Hi all!

I have a simple question - how can I progammatically get actual db size (total or separately by traces) with LabVIEW?

Can I get it with any functions from NI MAX?

Now I calculate size of all files in database folder - but i think that it must be very slow if I have some gigabytes of theese files...

Hi Igor,

Unfortunately, the Citadel database size is not available through any LabVIEW API. It sounds like your method is currently the best way.

Through MAX, you could view the properties for a database and see the size in the Properties window but this would have to be done manually.
