I m sure that LV 7.1 does not have that property I have mentioned in your code; then, how come you ve got it... ?!

Hi Mike,

The Old Edit Position property you have used in your VI, is similar to the one that appears on the Event Data node for a value change event of a control/indicator.

I just compared jovially.

There is something unusual when I load your 7.1 VI in my LV 8.5.

See the red-marked portion in the attached pic. This is what I mentioned & asked you...

Hi Partha,
this is because of the property from 7.1 is not available in 8.5. They have changed the name, but so that the vi is also executable it is possible to use it with the "old" add-on.
