Solved!

I'm trying to open up the EPM2000 driver from molectron's website, but it is too old. Would anyone have a version that has been converted to 8.5 or something that 8.5 can open? Thanks.

Hello Steve,

The LabVIEW VI’s that Coherent has attached on their website are for LabVIEW version 4.01. This version was released by NI in 1996, and is not compatible with Windows 98, NT or later. Therefore the VI’s are not usable.

I would go ahead and contact Coherent to see if they have a modern (LV 7.1 or 8.x) version of the VI’s in question. They probably do since they are still advertising the EPM2000 and selling is as “new”.

I hope this helps 🙂

Hi, Steve,

In attachment - llb, which is converted to LabVIEW 8.5.

best regards,

Andrey.

PS

DJ Dave, strange answer for NI Engineer.

First, the LLB can be opened in LabVIEW 6.1, then saved, then opened in LabVIEW 8.5 and saved again. LabVIEW 4.01 is not necessary for conversion.

Second, LabVIEW 4.01 can be started under WinXP (Yes, officially incompatible with latest Windows, but compatible enough for code conversion purposes).
