Hi everybody, I have installed a PCI-6034E card in my computer and I would like to visualize a signal on the attached vi. A dialog box gives me the following text:

"Error-1074135039 occured at niFgen Initialize.vi ...

This is not a supported device."

Although I have entered the device name and number "Dev2", which MAX has given me. Best, Ninskaya

You get the error because the card is not one of NI's function generators and NI-FGEN is only for them. NI function generators include the 5411 and 5421. You can only use DAQmx  functions with your card.

Hi Dennis, thanks a lot for your answer. Do you know where I could find vi examples to visualize signals from the PCI-6034E card. I am using LabVIEW 7.1 and have downloaded DAQmx 7.1 but can not find any examples there? Best, Ninskaya
