error code 1124: vi made of labview 4.0.1 and has no block diagram

when i try to open the old vi in labview 7.0 i received the message " -" Labview load error code 11 Vi version 4.0.1 cannot be
converted to the current labview version 7.0 because it has no block diagram"

A VI with no block diagram cannot be converted to a newer version. In essence, it's missing the source code and without that, LabVIEW cannot recompile. Once a block diagram is gone, it's gone forever. If the person who originally saved the VI without the diagram did not make a backup of the original or if the original cannot be found, there is nothing that anyone can do.
