Good to hear that it works after deleting the .tdms_index file. That maybe because the .tdms_index file is wrong so it returns the error. And after deleting the .tdms_index file and reopening the .tdms file, it will generate a new .tdms_index file.

Do you still keep the originial .tdms_index file, and if so, could you please also attach it and we can take a look what the problem is?

Hi Yongqing Ye,

          Oh sorry i dont keep the index files . i do a clean up of the folder very often  because the amount of .tdms is very large so to avoid that i delete these files since i know i dont have to worry about regenerating them.
