The two sub-VIs are identical, and should look something like the attached picture, with the connector pane wired with the 'Array In' on the left, and the 'Array Out' on the right.
After replacing the missing VIs with the 'ReplaceDuplicates.vi', you should be able to wire them up (top in the attached picture).

Do you know what I did wrong here?

I can't tell exactly what you've done, as the 'RemoveDuplicates.vi' is not attached. When the VI is opened, the two sub-VIs are missing, so two white boxes with question mark icons appear in their place. Upon replacing both of them, I simply need to wire them (as in the picture in my previous post), and they work fine.

Could you perhaps post a picture of what you have, or provide more detail? Have you replaced the placeholder VIs with the RemoveDuplicates.vi? If you have, does the icon change to the small box with the 'Trim Array' text?

I think that I know what I did.  I did the select a VI on the trim/cut VI only and the window that shows the proper steps for select a VI in one of our previous messages went right to the saved files and that was it, the one step that is circled never came up.

Nope that wasn't it and because I am an intern I'll be leaving the company I work for soon and me and my co-workers are dying to get this thing working could you just attach the correct program your getting and im not. That way I won't have to bother you anymore and me and anyone else could learn how the program works by studying it.

Here are the two VIs again, in a folder together with the test data you provided earlier.

*edit: Let me know if you have the same problem as when I tried to link both VIs before (post #22).  Worst case, I'll just put the code from the sub-VI directly into the main VI, and attach that.*

Thanks cory I finally got the two VIs working together and saved so they stay there. You helped a lot, thank you very much and I promise that this will be the last time I bother you.Smiley Happy

Ah, it was no bother! Glad you got everything working correctly now, though. Feel free to ask any more questions if they arise (although, I'll actually be going back to school shortly myself). 🙂
