fit block diagram to window

This might be a stupid question, but how do I fit the block diagram of my vi to fill the screen (kind of like a "zoom out" feature)?  I want to take a screenshot of my current block diagram in its entirety, but the vi is fairly large.  I can't seem to find the option to do this.

I don't think it's possible to "resize" the actual block diagram.  You might be able to use the navigation window (ctl-shift-n) to view the entire diagram and then use 'Alt-Print Screen' to capture it in the clipboard.

Under File/Print you can save BD and FP's as html docs with jpg images. You could try that and then zoom as needed on the jpg's to capture on screen

Hello,

There is no zoom feature in LabVIEW - that's correct.  In the inverse case of needing to navigate a large block diagram, the navigation window can be helpful.  Use the shortcut <CTRL> + <SHIFT> + N in 7.x and 8.x, or select it under the Window menu or View menu for 7.x and 8.x respectively.

You could also use a tool such as discussed in the following thread to save an image of your BD:

🙂

(I beleive there is also a similar thread to show how to add this as a custom tool to the LabVIEW menu.)

Thanks for your help everyone.  It seems rather strange that such a basic feature isn't in LabVIEW. Smiley Sad

Edit:  I'm referring to the zoom in/out feature. Smiley Wink
