functions and controls palette size

Hello

I ve just installed LV2012

And I have this strange problem:

Icons on palettes are too small and it makes me crazy

There Used to be description under each function...

How to make them normal like in previous versions??

Tools->Options->Controls/Functions Palettes  In the Palette menu ring select Category (Icons and Text)

I actually like it the way you have it now....

Alternatively you could copy your labview.ini file from the previous version into the LV12 folder.  Someday they will let us import settings during the annual migration.

I prefer this display as well and since you should always have context help open(), you have much more information available in that window.

Myself, I'm an icons and text + Ctrl+h guy.  Most of the primitives have well constructed and meaningful icons but some drivers do not.  I tried to view just those pallettes as Icon + Text but the view change was.....well....it almost made me motion sick. 

A touch of help on the function pallate- brief discussion in the floating help- quick access to details. very nearly just in time help.
