Has anyone seen this before? I opened a vi I had been working on yesterday and found a heavy black line across part of the diagram. In the past this has been a weird effect in the graphics, which was usually cured by just moving another image page across it, or closing the diagram and reopening, but the one shown is there even if I close the vi and reopen it.

The "artifact" is still present when I close and restart LabVIEW. It is only in that frame of the event structure and apparently extends under the left "edge" growing bigger if I expand or shift the frame left, growing smaller if I shift right.
Weird, in 18 years of LabVIEWing I have seen a lot of strange graphical anomalies, usual a result of bad interaction with the graphical card's drivers, but this is a first. I have been using this laptop since December, so it isn't a result of new hardware.

Very strange! I suppose you've tried grabbing the end in case it's a stray decoration right?

It does not respond to any mouse actions, other than showing more of the line if I move that event case frame to the left, less if I move it to the right. I shut down and restarted LabVIEW and it is still there. I don't think I'll spend too much time messing with it, it doesn't seem to effect the VI, but it is weird. More of a "head scratching hunh?" than a problem.
