Hello everyone 🙂
For example if we have task counting of circles of dominos, is it possible to count half parts(if dominos have it ) and how to do it ? How to do it in vision builder counter of half objects ?
My job is to progammed how to set vision builder to count from 0 to 20, and half parts are included(1.5, 2.5, 3.5... see picture attachment)
Thanks

Don't attach useless pictures. We all understand what counting to 20 looks like.
Get away from your hypothetical and look at what you're actually trying to do. What are you counting? What defines a full object? What defines a half object. When you have that, you can look at how to detect those objects

Hello natasftw,
I need to count that dashes under numbers on pictures, because this is my first usage of labview, and programming is not my favorite, I god idea to make 40 picture all with diferent number of dashes, and I know how to count but dont know how to count that half values?

What do you mean by a half value?
Instead of using words, try attaching a picture so we can see what you are talking about.

Here you are guys, how to count second picture as 1.5 ?

What happened to the whole story about dominoes?
Why would you need to "count" that second picture. Why wouldn't you just use the value on the wire that goes into that indicator?

Because it's my task for seminar, counter from 0 to 20 with half values included

I think you missed the point of his question.
You show a picture of an indicator that has a value fed to it. There's no benefit to working to determine what that value is based on the indicator. You already have it as you have to give the indicator the value. Just read it off the wire. If you're going to get the indicator without the value, choose a more appropriate indicator.
Why are you "counting" something you already have? Counting implies you'll get a series of pictures. Some of these pictures will not have a match. Some will have a whole match. Some will have a half match. Some will have a combination of full and half matches. You'd need to count these matches to determine how many are there. THAT is counting. What you're asking for, if we understand you correctly and you want to know where the needle is, isn't counting. You're asking for a way to find its position to give you a value you already have in order to create said image. Why?

Counting was my idea to solve the problem, because I'm new in NI VB and labview. So what's your idea to fix that problem what value needle is showing and how to do it in vision builder ? Sorry I was unclear, English is not my primary language
