!!!help!!! synchronization camera and measurements

Hi,

I am doing something similar to Dan and want to synchronize data and video. I tried to find the example you spoke of ("AVI read write with Data Example") that showed how to add data to .avi video frames, but I was not able to find it.  I checked in my versions of Labview (Labview 8 evaluation version, and Labview 7) and on the NI website. Do you know anywhere else I could find this example? Is there Anyone I should contact?

Hi,

I have still some problems with my work. I did something like this...bud I am affraid of there is no synchronization...Could anyone see that and in case give me help for better way to synchronization? Another problem is it is very slow, may be because I show the video from USB camera to monitor, but I have question, what is faster and which variant is bigger on disc? IMAQ AVI Write frame or I should save "video" in datalog and then later converse it to *.avi or can I use TDMS? Can I use some synchronization in TDMS? Thanks for your replies.

Hi all, 

I am trying to synchronize my daq (NI USB 6211) and image acquisition (Allied Vision GX1050C) on my VI. However, I do not have an RTSI cable with me right now. Is there anyway that I can sync these two acquisitions (triggered at the same time and acquire one data point corresponding to each frame at any instance)?
