hi, i try to collect a reading/data from various type of pressure transducers,and encorder as my counter using my labview programming. can anybody suggest what card compatible for my application.

i use labview 6, my os is window98. i try to get data from my various type of pressure sensors, encorder, air mass flow meter. i don't now what type of card suit my application.

Any multifunction DAQ card should suit your application. all of NIs multifunction DAQ cards have analog inputs/outputs, digital input/output and counters. Which board would be most appropriate would depend on the specs that you need. If you do not need to sample very fast you could use a Low-Cost E series board like a 6023e.

Thanks for replying. how about if i'm using different product of daq card. can you explain on how to communicate between the labview prog and the card (example of programming/diagram will be good). Please coz i'm a new kid on the block.

can you see if you have all the controls,
precisely the data i/o acquisition controls

if i open an example, it shows these controls, but if i create a new project, it doesn't show all controls

I have a similar question as I need to acquire various data including possibly 3 or 4 frequency measurements from hydraulic flow turbines which have frequencies up to 3khz.
Is it simpler just to purchase a frequency to voltage converter and obtain all inputs as voltage signals? Do NI supply these converters?
