You could also add code to test the iteration count and trigger a case structure with a breakpoint inside of it
Not that I disagree with the general idea, but it should be pointed out that you don't need code for this - if you right click a wire, you can choose to use a conditional probe. One of the shipping probe is the numeric probe which allows you to stop the code when the number reaches a certain value.
Also, there is an idea for this in the IE, which you should vote for if you want this to happen - http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW-Idea-Exchange/Variable-Speed-highlight-execute/idi-p/920528

No news in this field? I mean I run v2015, v2017 is available and no "speed slide bar" yet?
I think is such a simple feature to implement for such an interesting tool as highlight execution is. Pitty.

No. Not around yet. The idea has a very large number of kudoes, so maybe one day it will happen.
If you want it, be sure to go to the idea that was linked in the previous message and click the start to give it a Kudo!

"Execution Highlighting
Click and hold the Execution Highlighting toolbar button to display a menu of speed options. In addition to improving the visibility of the executed code, the animation of execution is given a new visual treatment.

There's also this when you right-click a wire:

For those of you who want to do something like that with earlier versions of LV, the attached VIs work with LV 18+.
