how can I access Microscribe 3D digitizer with Labview 5.1

Hi can some one tell me how can I access Microscribe 3D digitizer with Labview 5.1.I have drivers that are compatible with its own program(it has a serial data cable). but not the Labview.So please do suggest me where can I get compatible drivers or VIs to access the digitizer directly with labview 5.1. I appreciate your time and effort in answering this question.Thanks.

Hi, skolakanuru.

You can do most types of serial communication using the serial examples that are included with LabVIEW. To access them, click Search Examples on the LabVIEW 5.1 splash screen and select I/O Interfaces>>Serial Communication.

              Thanks for the reply.I will go through them.But I was trying to see if some one wrote VIs or drivers compatible with the Microscribe 3D digitizer.As many perople might be using digitizer with labview.
