how can I amplify the audio read from soundcard?

I desired to make an audio equalizer vi, which will split the input audio to some frequency ranges and control the gain of each by the use of front panel controls (as like equa;izer in winamp). I made a vi which reads sound from sound card but i can't amplify it.

Multiply the values with your amplification factor. (multiply an array with a single value)

I would check the max value in your array first to avoid clipping.
