In LabVIEW 7, there are some built-in VIs for accessing a joystick. I would think they would also work with a wheel and pedals as long as it identifies itself as a joystick device, though I have not tried this.

You'll find them in the 'Advanced>Input Device Control' palette.

If you don't have LabVIEW 7, I know I've seen some VIs that can access a joystick, but I can't find them right now. Try doing a web search on "joystick +labview" and see what you come up with.

Good luck

Using the Abort button to stop your VI is like using a tree to stop your car. It works, but there may be consequences.

Tkank you all.
I knew that one, but I do not know if it will work with a steering wheel & pedals..
Before purchasing the steering, I wanted to make sure that is was possible to communicate (with that dll, or with labVIEW 7's new features for joystick).
Did someone tried it ?

Ok, I've asked my nephew to try LV 7 built-in functions for joystick with his steering will - and it approves that all works well.
