how can i communicate with micromega temperature with RS 232 cable using labview.wt are teh paremeters i should define?

i want to use labview to establish Rs 232 communication with micromega tempereture controller (CN77333-C2).I want to use labview to set all relevant heating/temperature parameters and to read temperature from micromega temp controller.can some one help me on this..

Do you have information from the vendor as to the serial sttings you need (baud rate, parity, etc.)? You have to get this and the command set first and then I would recomend that you first try using Hyperterminal to talk to it. That will confirm the com settings are correct and you have the correct cable. After that, you can look at some of the shipping examples for serial communication.
