how do I change margins on a chart?

Solved!

I want to reduce the left margin size in my charts. Labview seems to waste a lot of space in the left margin. See attached screenshot. Is there any way of doing this?

You can customize the control by right clicking on the control, going to "Advanced->Customize..."

When the control pops up in a different window you can change from 'customize mode' to 'edit mode' using the wrench/compass button on the toolbar.

In customize mode you can resize the background so it takes up less space.

You don't even have to go through the trouble of customizing the control. Just grab a drag block on the edge of the data display and move it to the left.
