hi ...
I have a table in my micorsoft words file ... i want to update the data on the table ...and i don't have the report generation toolkit... how could i update using activex in labview ... thank you very muc...........

There is an example of how to do this in the samples that ship with LabVIEW.

Just go to Help>>...Examples... to find it. It should be under Communication>>ActiveX
