how should I use daqnavi?

I wrote a labview code. now, i want connect it to a hardware. result, I bought an advantech card PCI-1712. for use it, installed daqnavy, but I dont know how use it. how work each block and witch block of daqnavy is good. can you help me? I couldnt find any example in the internet too.

What is DAQNavi, where'd you get it, why'd you install it?

They have two videos on their site explaining how to use the DAQNavi Assisstant for analog and digital tasks and at the end of the videos they even mention that if you have any questions you can call Advantech support.

In their FAQ they don't even have LabVIEW under languages with example programs so I would follow RavensFan's advice here.  

When you say the blocks do not have help are you saying there is no context help?

If you buy a GPS from TomTom and can't get it to work, do you ask Toyota to help you figure out why?

If not, why would you troubleshoot your device in the same manner?

when I bought PCI-1712, I found a CD with it. but CD dosnt support windows 7. I asked Company representative about it, and he introduce me DAQnavy instead of that, as drivers pack and it's blocks.  Dennis_Knutson post  a link about that.

Which video do you mean? I think videos in that page are not applicable. do you know any detailed example?

about help on blocks, I mean, there is no help when I right click on the blocks. have any thing like a pdf explanation about that in details?

I dont talk about troubleshooting. I talk about starting phase. here, all persons work with labview. and they work by hardware too. so, likely had my question in the past or dealt daily. In these circumstances, and In an environment where there are so many professionals, I asked my question.

You're right, I forgot that topic. Although, after your suggestion, I called to Company representative, and I found DAQnavy as driver and blocks. I test my card by one of the blocks name "daqnavy assistance" too. but I want have a more serious challenge in my first step and I want know more details. I dont know other blocks. do you work with?

Hi Behzad,

when you have question Advantech products they should be able to provide support for their products.

If that ins't the case you should not buy products of this company!
