how to capture external signal

I built an EMG system. How do i get the signal into simulink so i can apply filtering to it ? I have this built on a breadboard. I know I can use the sound card from the computer. The highest signal I will have is around 2kHz so my sampling rate should be about 6khz. Do i just run a wire from sound card and into my breadboard ? Any help would be great

Hi integralx2,

Can you elaborate a bit more about your application? Are you using any NI hardware or software, such as LabVIEW? If so, can you elaborate on how this is integrated into your application?

Thanks!
