how to communicate with Modbus protocol using Labview 7.1

I am carrying out a project on firmware(Embedded Varification) using Labview7.1 on Windows XP SP2. In this project I need to communicate with Modbus protocol which is attached to firmware product. So can any one tell how to do it?
